Ontario Provincial Police are searching for two young girls, aged 9 and 10, who have been missing from the campground near Calabogie since Monday night.
Provincial police Const. Janice Sawbridge says one girl is from Barrie, Ont.
The other girl is from near Kingston, Ont.
An OPP dog unit and an emergency response team are also involved in the search that began Monday night.
Police say the weather has been fine, although fog delayed the helicopter slightly in the morning.
“It’s a heavily wooded area,” Sawbridge said.
“We’re searching in the bush, trees, there are some lakes nearby. We are searching everywhere.”
