Amber Alert activated for missing Saskatchewan girl

RCMP have issued an amber alert for a missing Saskatchewan teen who they think has been abducted.

17 year old Kayla Natomagan was last seen on La Ronger First Nation around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

She is aboriginal, 5’6″-5’7″. 140 pounds with long dark brown hair with highlighted gold tips. She has brown eyes, a fair complexion and her right ear is pierced at the top.

Police allege she was abducted by Jonas Budd, an aboriginal man believed to be armed with a rifle. He is considered dangerous.

He may be driving a grey 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 extended-cab pickup truck with Saskatchewan plate 043 JEZ. Mounties don’t know which direction Budd is heading, but he has connections in the Saskatchewan communities of Cumberland House, Pinehouse, Sturgeon Landing and Prince Albert, along with Thompson, Manitoba.

Anyone seeing Natomagan or Budd should not approach them. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-877-SOAMBER or 1-877-762-6237.
