A collision involving a motorcycle on Stoney Trail N.W. near the Trans-Canada Highway has claimed the life of a woman.
The crash happened shortly before 4:30 p.m. MT on Sunday.
Police say the female driver of the motorcycle slid out and hit a barrier at the 16th Avenue exit.
She sustained serious injuries and was transported to Foothills Hospital.
Police say no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
