Tim Tebow : Ex-NFL QB Says He’ll Adopt Someday

Tim Tebow has revealed that he would like to adopt a child someday.

The former American football quarterback told People.com that adoption has always been close to his heart and there are so many kids who really need a family.

Tebow also told People Magazine that he still plans on returning to the NFL as a QB but he knows what’s more important than fortune and fame.

“I’m even more passionate about my foundation and the difference that we’re making all around the world,” said Tebow to People. “That’s what gets me excited. That’s what it’s all about. I want to improve as a football player, but even more importantly, I really want to improve as a person.”

Tebow started the Tim Tebow Foundation in 2010 to help with any cause that he felt needed his, and others, attention. Last year, he added orphan care to his foundation to give grants to families adopting special needs children.

The March 15 golf tournament that Tebow helped put together raised over $1.1 million for his foundation.
