Two killed after shootings in Brampton and Mississauga, Report

Two people are dead after overnight shootings in Brampton and Mississauga. Peel police do not believe the two shootings are connected.

Officers were called to the scene at Airport and Derry roads in Mississauga around 1 a.m. Sunday where they found a man with bullet wounds outside Habibi Lounge.

The victim, a 17-year-old male from Toronto, was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition and later succumbed to his injuries.

At 4:30 a.m., police found a man shot and seriously injured in the parking lot of Masta’s Lounge near Orenda and Dixie Rds. in Brampton.

The man was later pronounced dead in hospital.
