A Nevada man who claims he has the remains of a Bigfoot is bringing the creature to Katy.
Rick Dyer claims to have seen the 9-foot creature in the woods near San Antonio in 2012. He said he shot a short phone video then shot the creature and took it to a still unnamed university to have it tested and verified.

Dyer, who said he shot Bigfoot near San Antonio in 2012, made headlines in 2008 after claiming to have shot the real Bigfoot. While Dyer’s finding turned out to be nothing more than a frozen gorilla suit, Dyer said he’s now trying to clear his name with what he says is proof Bigfoot exists.

Since the announcement, Dyer has went mainstream, forming Team Tracker and posting hundreds of photos and YouTube videos.

Northwest Harris County residents again will have a chance to see the remains for themselves at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25, at the Vintage Park site, 114 Vintage Park Blvd. Katy residents can view the attraction at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Mason Park location, 531 S. Mason Road in Katy.

Admission is $20 admission and includes a top-secret Bigfoot-related movie and a half hour question-and-answer session with Dyer, who will describe what it takes to kill Sasquatch.
