Halifax toddler gets pretend ticket for parking in front of ferry terminal.

A three-year-old boy who illegally parked his plastic, red motorcycle on the waterfront in Halifax, N.S., was photographed while he received a parking ticket from a police officer and the tot’s reaction is priceless.

Declan Tramley, 3, is pictured sitting on his bike with his hand on his head, while Cst. Shawn Currie writes out the ticket – which was all in good fun.

“He parked his bike just like the other motorcyclists would and he walked away,” Currie told CTV News. “We thought it would be funny if I went over and just pretend to write a parking ticket.”

The photograph was taken by Tramley’s father and tweeted by the Halifax Regional Police on July 5 with the caption, “Remember, no motorcycle parking in the circle by the ferry terminal. This ruthless biker was caught yesterday!”

The photo has been retweeted 1,129 times and garnered 9,885 likes on Facebook.

Declan’s mom Lisa told CTV News that he “loves his ticket.

“He tried to go to sleep with his ticket, actually.”
