Star Dina Eastwood returns to journalism after Clint Eastwood split

Following her split from husband of seventeen years, Clint Eastwood, Dina Eastwood is going back to work. According to TMZ Dina is heading back to the job that she left when she first met Clint. Dina will be returning to her roots as a news anchor for KSBW in Monterey, California. The station’s news director confirmed to TMZ that Dina will be anchoring the five o’clock evening news beginning immediately. The part boriqua newswoman worked as an anchor between 1991 and 1996. She met Clint during an interview in 1992, and she retired from the news desk in 1996, the same year she married Clint.

The journalist and reality TV star cites the standard reason of irreconcilable differences in the divorce papers filed on Tuesday in Monterey County Superior Court, California.

She is seeking spousal support and full physical custody of the couple’s 16-year-old daughter Morgan.

Her filing states that she and Clint, 83, have a prenuptial agreement but that property rights are still “to be determined.” She has also asked that her husband take care of her attorney’s fees.

While she has been away from the news desk for nearly twenty years, Dina is no stranger to TV.

Last year she stepped into the spotlight when she invited cameras into the family home for her own reality show, Mrs Eastwood & Company, which also starred the couple’s daughter Morgan and Francesca, 19, Clint’s daughter from a previous relationship.
