‘Cheer’ mom gets 10 years in underage sex case, Report

A reality TV Star on TLC’s Cheer Perfection has been sentenced to ten years behind bars for raping a 13-year-old boy.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that Andrea Clevenger pleaded guilty in Pulaski County Circuit Court to first-degree sexual assault and engaging a child in sexually explicit conduct. The plea agreement also requires her to stay away from the boy for at least 20 years. The 34-year-old mother of three must serve two-and-a-half years before she is eligible for parole.

Clevenger acknowledged asking the boy to take explicit photos and text them to her, and having had sex with him in November.

Clevenger was on the “Cheer Perfection” reality series as the mother of one of the competitive cheerleaders in a group from Sherwood, Ark. The show has since been cancelled, though TLC said that decision was made months before Clevenger’s January arrest.
