Three people collapse in Winnipeg after using fentanyl

Police are once again warning about the dangers of Fentanyl after three more Winnipeggers overdosed on the highly powerful drug.

Police were called to the East Kildonan area by a woman who had ingested fentanyl with a male companion. The male collapsed and the woman called 911. She too then collapsed.

During investigation police determined a third male had taken fentanyl and when police went to check on him they discovered he needed medical assistance. He was taken to hospital.

All three are expected to recover.
