Kristopher Love is accused of shooting dead Kendra Hatcher as police search for a woman suspected of hiring him.
31-year-old Kristopher Love was arrested and charged with Capital Murder and a federal charge of Possession of Firearm by a Felon. Love is being held on $2.5-million.
Major Max Geron said when Love was arrested, the weapon believed to have been used in the shooting was found with him.
Police describe it as a murder for hire.
Dr. Kendra Hatcher was shot and killed in the parking garage at an Uptown Dallas apartment complex on September 2nd.
More arrests are expected with additional warrants announced on those believed to be involved.
“It’s been a culmination of the hard work of the Dallas Police homicide detectives,” said Major Geron at a Friday night news conference at Dallas Police Headquarters.
