B.C. ‘s New Year’s baby is a boy!

First BC baby of 2016 born at Surrey Memorial Hospital.

Grayson Heinrich Jackson was born at Surrey Memorial Hospital just fifteen minutes past midnight. He weighed eight pounds. His parents are Naomi Voss Hans and Ryan Jackson.

Meanwhile, Northern B.C.’s first baby of 2016 was a girl.

Ellie Marie Bajic was born in Prince George at 1:25 a.m. at the University Hospital of Northern B.C. weighing eight pounds. Her parents are Kayla and David Bajic.

So far, the stork has yet to arrive in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John.
