Nicholas Rasberry looked emotionally drained Wednesday when hearing he’d been found guilty of manslaughter for stabbing teacher Craig Kelloway to death.
A sentencing date will be set later this year after the completion of a psychiatric assessment.
Rasberry will remain free until sentencing.
Kelloway, a school teacher, just moved next door to Rasberry in Auburn Bay just before his death.
Rasberry was originally charged with second degree murder in the case.
Court heard he stabbed Kelloway 37 times, but claimed it was self defense.
He alleged that he was fending off unwanted sexual advances, but the judge rejected the argument.
