Couple shot in Abbotsford overnight, Police

Abbotsford police are investigating an early morning shooting that sent a man and woman to hospital.

Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

Abbotsford Police got calls of shots fired near Lefeuvre Road, south of Fraser Highway.

But Constable Ian MacDonald says police found the two injured at a gas station on Fraser Highway and Mount Lehman Road.

“This male and female were in a vehicle, in those morning hours, and apparently were shot in their vehicle, before driving themselves a short distance to this gas station to get help.”

There are no details on any suspects or potential gang ties – but MacDonald says the two victims are known to police.

They’re recovering in hospital from non life threatening injuries.
