After about three hours, a man who threatened to jump from a freeway overpass in Paramount has been detained Thursday night.
All lanes of the 105 Freeway were closed in both directions from Paramount Boulevard and the 710 Freeway in the Paramount area because of a person apparently threatening to commit suicide by jumping onto the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

With traffic stopped on the highway, naturally it was time for a #selfie #op! LA’s smiling denizens got out and took pictures of the apocalyptically jammed freeway behind them. #Suicide #selfie.
