Cats at G20 Summit: Trio of felines makes appearance at annual summit “VIDEO”

Three cats have broken through security lines at the G20 summit and took centre stage, parading across the podium before world leaders took to the platform.

A live feed of the reception stage in Turkey captured three stray cats wander around and sniff the flowers before taking off.

Turkey is known for having many stray cats, even prompting the Wall Street Journal to suggest Istanbul be called “Catstantinople.”

During a 2009 trip to Turkey, U.S. President Barack Obama was photographed petting a stray cat named Gli inside the famed Hagia Sophia.
