Toronto Woman Gets Assaulted Outside Her Children’s School

Police are on the lookout for a pair of suspects who robbed and hurled racial slurs at a Muslim woman as she was picking up her children from a school in Toronto on Monday.

According to a spokesperson with 54 Division, the woman was physically attacked by two males while they allegedly referred to her as a “terrorist” and told her to “go back to [her] country.”

Police said the woman was going to pick her son up from Grenoble Public School when she was assaulted.

Paramedics were dispatched to the school, located in the Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East, area around 3:45 p.m. Monday.

The woman was taken to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 416-808-5400.
