Operation Red Nose: Keeping Our Roads Safe

For those looking for a safe and inexpensive way to get home this holiday season, Operation Red Nose will be up and running every Friday and Saturday starting Nov. 27 until the New Year.

A road safety initiative is offering an alternative to driving home after the big party.

Operation Red Nose is providing rides again this year to people out celebrating.

It’s operating in Regina, Saskatoon, the Battlefords and Prince Albert.

The program runs from Nov. 27 to Dec. 31 and is carried out by volunteers using their own vehicles.

The service is free but people can make donations.Proceeds go towards local youth initiatives and amateur sport.
