Dannielynn at Kentucky Derby : Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter the spitting image of tragic star

Dannielynn and her father, Larry Birkhead, enjoyed the horse races this Saturday while attending the Kentucky Derby.

She looked beautiful in a pale pink floral dress, which she paired with a matching flower headpiece, a bedazzled silver purse and a sweet smile. Her proud papa looked dapper in a pink jacket and white pants.

We’ve all watched Danny grow up in the public eye, but besides an appearance at “The Smurfs 2” premiere in 2013 and a rare appearance on “Today” later that year, the Derby is the one event where we get to see her on a regular basis.

Larry has attended with his daughter every year since 2011 — and once even dressed up as Mary Poppins and Bert for the event. See that photo in the gallery above!

Birkhead, who raises his daughter in Kentucky, likes for her to lead a normal life.

“It’s kind of a paparazzi-free zone,” he said of his low-key lifestyle. “It’s a little more laid back, so that’s been a positive.”

“I spend a lot of time with her everyday being both parents, I just try to give her a good foundation and be there for her at all times,” Larry added.

Is there anything more adorable than a doting dad?!

    1. Thankfully Dannielynn has her father to care for her.

    2. Bobbie Wells March

I’ve seen way too many of girls in the general public at ages 8 and up looking like mini-teens. The parents are not doing their job if they let them leave the house dressed in some of these outfits. Heels, makeup like mascara; mostly the clothes and shoes. Ridiculous. I think these kids could have some issues, too.
