Brooklyn Decker is pregnant! The star revealed that she’s expecting a baby with husband Andy Roddick by sharing an adorable baby bump photo.
“I’m happy to confirm Brooklyn and Andy are expecting a new addition to their family in the autumn of this year,” Brooklyn’s rep, Jesse Parker Stowell confirmed to People magazine on Saturday.
The 28-year-old tied the knot with the former World No.1 in tennis in 2009. While the couple have waited a while before starting a family, Brooklyn couldn’t wait to share the happy news with her Instagram followers.
“So this happened… #the3ofus,(sic)” she wrote alongside a picture of herself cradling her little bump.
The star showed off her new short locks while she posed in a cute black floral maxi dress with a leafy landscape behind her.
Brooklyn last posted a photo two days before, but made no reference to her impending motherhood. However with hindsight, her choice of outfit was clearly chosen to disguise her blossoming figure, as it consisted of an off the shoulder, billowing black and white top and a pair of black shorts.
“Grace+Frankie premiere last night… Feeling pretty darn lucky to be a part of this cast, the show, this company. Premieres on NETFLIX next Friday May 8th!(sic)” she wrote.
While Andy is yet to comment on the news that he’s to become a father, he did retweet a post by fellow tennis player Andy Murray, who highlighted a typo made by People magazine’s website as it announced the news.
“Not sure my wife and @andyroddick will be best pleased to find these out via Twitter! #error(sic)” he wrote alongside a screen grab of the page, which accidentally had the headline ‘Andy Murray and Brooklyn Decker expecting first child’. The website has since updated the page with the correct name.
