Woman charged in library sex show video case : Police

Windsor police charge woman accused of streaming library sex shows.

Alexandria Morra’s lawyer confirmed she turned herself in around 7 a.m. Friday. He said the 21-year-old woman, who goes by Alexa, has been shocked by the extreme public attention focused on her since news broke of her alleged sex videos.

“It’s been very stressful, of course,” said defence lawyer Tyler Jones. “There has been an unanticipated amount of attention brought to this. But she is doing well under the circumstances.”

Windsor police charged her with one count of committing an indecent act and released her on a promise to appear in court. Jones said she went to police headquarters after police made contact with her.

Jones said he didn’t know much about the background of his client, who first contacted him Thursday. He added she won’t be speaking to the media.

“My hope is that certain factions of the media would stop in their continued presence at her mother’s home where she does not reside,” Jones said.

Morra allegedly livestreamed dozens of shows from study desks at the Riverside and Fontainebleau branches as unsuspecting people, including children, went about their business nearby. Library officials first became aware of the woman in January after receiving complaints about her. CEO Kitty Pope said this week that library staff approached the woman. When she refused to identify herself, they asked her to leave.

Then this week, Pope said she learned from a media report the woman had performed dozens of shows in the library over a threemonth period starting in November. The young woman flashed her breasts, exposed her genitals, masturbated and used sex toys.

There is also video circulating online of her doing similar things at what appears to be a Tim Hortons.

The woman streamed her sex shows through a site called MyFreeCams. The site allows fans to watch and interact with performers and ask them to do various sex acts.

    1. Dang, I was wondering why that book I checked out smelled like fish!!!! EWHHHH!!!!

    2. Damn it, exhibitionists, perverts, and people with an extreme definition of “sex positive,” can we not just have ONE place where we don’t have to worry about your behavior? You’ve already taken parked cars, elevators, movie theaters, the beach, roller coasters, dressing rooms, and of course, public restrooms. But libraries? Ugh. At least reserve a study carrel and cover the window.
