Ford announces that new GT will be built in Markham, Ontario

Ford of Canada has announced it’s going to build the Ford GT right here in Ontario.

It was announced that the supercar would be manufactured in collaboration with Multimatic Inc. The president of Ford Canada, Dianne Craig, said that the company has 30 years of experience working with Multimatic. The two companies have worked together in the past on the FR500c and Boss 302R race cars.

The Ford GT was unveiled to the world at an auto show in Detroit last month. The latest Ford GT is expected to go into production in 2016 and will be available for deliveries in late 2016. The 600 horsepower car is expected to be priced north of $200,000.

The 2016 Ford GT will be launched under the umbrella of the company’s new wing, Ford Performance. Bill Ford, the company’s executive chairman, said earlier in the year that the company will be building the supercar at a facility dedicated to the Ford GT, rather than in a traditional plant.

The Ford GT is powered by a next-generation, twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine. The body of the supercar would be manufactured out of light-weight carbon fibre, and will feature a rear-wheel drive. The cockpit of the car will be able to seat up to two passengers. The car will feature upward swinging doors. Specifications of the supercar were told by Joe Henrich, the president of the Americas division at Ford Motors.
