Hugh Jackman Is Unrecognizable as Villainous Blackbeard in New Pan Trailer, the 46-year-old Aussie actor got ripped for the X-Men movies, he starved himself for Les Miserables, and now he has shaved his head and grew an epic pirate ‘stache for his role as Blackbeard in the new Peter Pan movie.
Pan is about an origin story about an orphan boy Peter (Levi Miller) who is left behind by his mother. In searching for her he discovers Neverland: a land filled with both dangers and fun mysteries that beg to be solved. In Wright’s film we will see how the young boy became the hero that many children and adults have fallen in love with, whether through the Disney movie or the classic story by J.M. Barrie.
The trailer is definitely eye-popping and brings a lot of Wright’s period piece beauty to the film. However, the biggest and most surprising element in the trailer is Hugh Jackman’s Blackbeard. He’s nearly unrecognizable all decked out in is pirate garb.
