Jessica Alba says becoming a mom was ‘risky’, Report

Jessica Alba has admitted that she risked her acting career to become a mother.

The Sin City star, 33, who has daughters Honor, six, and Haven, three, with husband Cash Warren, 35, says her decision to step back from Hollywood to have children could have affected her career.

“Becoming a mother was risky,” she said.

“It meant cooling off from this business which was all I had known my entire life.

“I had to be unapologetic and not care about the consequences.’’

However the actress says she has no regrets as motherhood has given her a new perspective on life and opened her up to exciting opportunities.

“I’ve set my priorities in a different place, with my children and my family,” said the star, who now also runs a successful ecofriendly baby products business, The Honest Company.

“I dared to look at projects outside of Hollywood and I’m so happy that I did.”
