Two people killed in Nova Scotia crash : RCMP

Two men were pronounced dead at a single vehicle crash on Central Caribou Road in Pictou around 10 a.m. Sunday.

The vehicle went off the road and hit a parked trailer, RCMP said. The driver and a male passenger, both in their 20s, died at the scene.

A woman was in the backseat. She was taken to Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow with non-life-threatening injuries.

The names of the two men who died in the crash have not been released.

Corbett Road, north of Pictou, is closed to traffic while RCMP investigate.

RCMP won’t say anything about the cause of the crash.

Road conditions were good at the time.
