Justin Trudeau’s Ottawa home broken into overnight

The RCMP and Ottawa police are investigating following a break-in early Saturday morning at the home of Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau.

The office of the Liberal Leader says that he was working in Winnipeg at the time, but his family was at home sleeping when it occurred.

Spokesperson Karen Purchase is saying that his family is safe and no one was harmed, but there was a threatening note left behind. The police are asking her not to comment on what the note said.

Purchase also says she doesn’t believe anything has been taken.
