The boyfriend of Glee actress Becca Tobin has been found dead in a hotel room.
35-year-old Matt Bendik’s body was discovered by a maid on Thursday afternoon in the Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia.
The city medical examiner’s office confirmed Bendik’s identity and will determine the cause and manner of death. There were no signs of foul play.
Tobin’s manager, Ricky Rollins of Schumacher Management, also confirmed Bendik’s death and says that “with respect to both the Bendik and Tobin families, there is no comment at this time.”
The news comes almost exactly one year after “Glee” star Cory Monteith died of an accidental alcohol and drug overdose in a Vancouver hotel.
