Alicia Keys : Singer Visits Typhoon Victims in The Philippines

Alicia Keys provided joy to the victims of the powerful Typhoon in the Philippines by giving gifts like crayons and coloring books to the children.

The Grammy Winning singer visited the Villamor Airbase grandstand where the evacuees from Tacloban City and other parts of Visayas arrive from C-130 flights.

Keys lifted up the spirits of many by staying there for about an hour to chat with the victims. She had to cheer them up so that they can rise from the horrible devastation of typhoon Haiyan.

Wearing a white shirt and jeans, the short-haired singer was seen handing out school supplies to children.

According to PIA-NCR, Keys “donated some crayons and other stuff for children” during her visit.

Keys arrived in Manila on Sunday night for Monday’s concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena billed as “Set the World on Fire.”

The singer said she is hoping “to bring hope for the Filipino people” during her second visit to Manila.

Keys is the voice behind the hits “Karma,” “Fallin,’” “Unbreakable,” “If I Ain’t Got You,” “No One,” “Empire State of Mind” and “Girl on Fire.”
